The artist I chose to research is James Rosenquist.
Mr.Rosenquist was born on November 29,1933. He was born in Grand Forks , North Dakota. James is an activist of the pop-art movement.
The beginning of his career consisted of him painting billboards in 1957-1960. From that he began making large scale paintings and he even got the opportunity to meet Andy Warhol. James Rosenquist has received numerous awards including "Art In America Young Talent USA" in 1963. Mr. Rosenquist is currently 77 years old.
